Xian’s a cool place to go, but only for a day. Dont ever stay there for more than a day or two. I could had went there in the morning and left in the evening. Go see the soldiers, the factory, that springs place I cant remember the name during the day and have dinner. Then at night, get a taxi and go within the walls and check out the towers. What I did was I went in them and took pictures of each tower from the other one. Then leave, youll bore yourself to death if not

  3. bwhitt86 Said,

By the way, if you stay there for a week, youve been there 6 days too long. Its a nice place and all, but you can see EVERYTHING in a day. I flew in on saturday morning and left sunday morning and I still had time to spare. Its a very tourist driven place which I hate, and I would had never ever gone there unless it was for the soldiers. There are to many americans, do yourself a favor and with the money you saved go to somewhere like innner mongolia or something. “Be a traveller, not a tourist”

The Terracotta soldiers is without a doubt the most amazing thing Ive seen over the last 2 decades of travelling and living overseas. Other than that though, theres only a couple other places worth seeing in my opinion, If you want to see the bell and drum towers, its not worth seeing unless its night. They both light up and you can walk to the top and see the two towers with great detail and beauty. They also this palace and spring thats pretty cool. It should be a short trip to Xian.

I live in Xi’an, China right now. I work at an English school here and I hang out around that bell tower about 3 or 4 times a week. There are some cool restaurants and stores around there.

  7. revolutionaryhorizon Said,

Japan. Every spring is the sakura viewing season, most popular during “Golden Week” in April.
